Amos Peleg, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Amos Peleg co-founded Upstream Commerce following more than 17 years of leadership roles in operations and global team management in the software industry. At Mercado Software – later acquired by Omniture, Inc. (now Adobe) – Amos served as General Manager of Mercado Labs and was responsible for the company’s operations. Mercado Software, a provider of advanced merchandising solutions, counted among its customers Macy’s, John Lewis, Williams-Sonoma, Argos, Overstock, Guess and Sears. Prior to Mercado, as Director of Small-Business Technology Platforms at SAP, Amos managed the group responsible for international engineering programs. Previously, at Check Point Software Technologies, he drove the technical development of two core products and was responsible for the conception, architecture, development, and market delivery of all new products. Amos holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Weizmann Institute of Science and a B.Sc. in Physics and Computer Science from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Dr. Shai Geva, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Shai Geva is a leading technologist with nearly 25 years of practical experience, coupled with a strong academic and research background. He is intimately familiar with e-commerce and Web technologies. Shai was a member of the founding team, and served as Chief Scientist, at Mercado Software – later acquired by Omniture, Inc. (now Adobe), where he provided technology leadership, helping to formulate and realize the company’s strategy and vision. Previously, he served for five years in an elite technology unit of the Israel Defense Forces, where he was responsible for innovative system design and implementation. Shai holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. He is co-inventor of two US patents and has a number of patent applications pending.
Nir Shahaf, GM and Vice President of Engineering
Nir leads all product development, user interface design and quality assurance at Upstream Commerce. Previously, Nir served as General Manager at Artimedia Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Artivision Technologies (publicly traded in the Singapore Stock Exchange) and a leading provider of video ad servers, where he was responsible for the company's technology, sales and marketing operations. Previously, Nir co-founded Comitari Technologies and served as VP Research & Development, creating a Web security solution that protects against online frauds and social engineering attacks. Prior to Comitari, Nir served as a Product Development Manager at F5 Networks, a $5B leader in application delivery, managing the development of the company's security products portfolio. Nir moved to F5 Networks from Check Point Software Technologies, where he managed a development team responsible for next generation connectivity products. Nir holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University.
Glenn A. Pagan, Senior Vice President of Global Sales
Glenn Pagan brings to Upstream Commerce more than 27 years of sales and business development leadership in the software industry. His results-driven and client-focused approach, paired with his deep understanding of the market, provide Glenn with the ability to help global retail and e-commerce companies drive revenues and increase profitability. Glenn has held various leadership roles with leading solution providers including Regional Director at IBM Retail, Director of Business Development at Time Warner, VP Global Sales at Idomoo and VP Sales at TruEffect. Throughout his career he has worked with prominent retailers and brands such as Macy’s, Sears, Ralph Lauren, Amazon, HP and Microsoft to understand their needs and help them find retail solutions on a global scale. Glenn earned his BA/BBA in Marketing and Political Science from Iona College.
Judy Moon, Vice President of Customer Success
Judy’s #1 mission is to drive customer success through the entire customer lifecycle -- from onboarding and training to product adoption and optimization -- but most of all to ensure that clients receive maximum business value from the Upstream Commerce suite of products. As Vice President of Customer Success at Upstream Commerce, Judy brings a wealth of experience acquired over twenty years in tech and related industries -- in client services, project management, business development, consumer marketing and digital media. Before joining Upstream Commerce, Judy was Director of Client Services and Business Development for Idomoo, a media technology company where she single-handedly managed all North American projects for the first two years, and served in the critical role of helping clients achieve their goals. She worked with many enterprise-level clients including Google and American Express. Judy received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Amit Innes, Director of Finance and Operations
Amit heads finance and operations at Upstream Commerce bringing to this role more than ten years of extensive experience in senior financial positions in the tech industry. Before coming to Upstream Commerce, Amit served as a senior controller at NCR (formerly Retalix), a NYSE traded company, overseeing economic, accounting, corporate governance and regulatory aspects, as well as managing the international controllers. In this role, Amit administered the financials, bid reviews and accounting aspects of multi-million dollar projects and consulted executive management regarding accounting issues and financial forecasts. Previously, Amit served as senior auditor with the Deloitte & Touche tech group, leading experienced accountant audit teams for strategic private/public customers and consulting with companies with complex financials & accounting matters. Amit is a CPA and holds a B.A. in accounting and economics from Ben-Gurion University, as well as an MBA in financial management from Tel-Aviv University.
